Chemical Dependency Program

The Chemical Dependency Program is an educational outpatient alcohol/drug treatment program for adults seeking a sober lifestyle. Family Service is certified by the State of California as an outpatient provider for Proposition 36. This program offers up to 12 months of community-based substance abuse treatment and up to six months of aftercare for non-violent drug possession/use offenses. Certified Chemical Dependency counselors as well as Marriage and Family Therapists interns develop a personalized treatment plan for each individual. These plans include individual sessions, weekly process and educational groups, and a requirement for clients to attend outside 12 step meetings such as Alcoholics Anonymous.
